Youth Ministry - LaSalle Manor Retreat - August 2010 - Pictures

The Teen Retreat for 2010 was themed In Thanksgiving for our Gifts. This is a poem that was written on retreat by one of our teen retreatants. We had a wonderful weekend full of laughter, prayer and learning about ourselves and our Faith.

Fr. Artur even danced the Macarena and taught us a new prayer for before mealtime. We made new friends and said “Good Luck in College” to dear friends. We look forward to doing it again next year!

New Experience By Jessica Buetner

Have you ever done something that you’ve never done before?
Such as riding a bike or going to a new kind of store?
What about this retreat? This is definitely new for me:
It’s all full of fun things to do and see.
There are the games that make us have fun
And the lessons about God and we do it in the sun.
We eat a lot of food that makes us smile!
We also go canoeing out in the water for a few miles.
Most importantly, we try and make new friends
That we will defiantly keep until the end.
So, I think this is a great new adventure!
I will be coming back next year for sure!
