"Feed my Sheep" - John 21:17
The Ministry of Care is a ministry of prayer, support and sacrament - to live out the Gospel message, to love and serve as Jesus did. As Ministers of Care, we share in the healing ministry of Jesus, the Good Shepherd. We have responded to His call to love and serve one another. Ministers are a sign of the community of the presence of the Lord among us today. Ministry is the gift of self-presence to others and being available to God's call. This is what our Lord asks of us.
Our Ministers of Care are available to visit and bring Eucharist to sick or homebound parishioners. If you know of someone who would like a visit, or if you are interested in contributing to the work of the Ministry of Care through a donation, please call Barbara Mares at the Ministry of Care office at 708-452-0150.
Ministry of Care Director: Barbara Mares - Ministry of Care office is located in the Pastoral Center and Hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
