Taste of Saint Celestine - September 8, 2012 - Video and Pictures

A litany of thanks - Although we experienced some growing pains as part of our new Taste of St. Celestine on Saturday, September 8, the general consensus is that the event was an overwhelming success. We look forward to expanding it next year.

What follows is an attempt to recognize at least some of the many people who worked so hard to make our first Taste a memorable event:

  • General Coordination & Organization: Barbara Mares, Jackie Mescolotto, Nancy Mueller
  • Italian Booth: Skip Marcucci and Carm DePillo
  • Mexican Booth: Irma & Angel Rivera and Guadalupe & Oscar Zepeda
  • Filipino Booth: Imelda Arenga and family, especially Marinelle Arenga
  • Polish Booth: Mary & Norb Zyk along with their daughter Liz Woods & Carol Koziol
  • American Booth: Lena Roy and the members of the St. Celestine School Parents’ Club
  • Fried Dough Booth: Laurie DePillo, Donna Vessini, Sarah DePillo & Christina Stevens
  • Sweets Table: Lynn Schmidt, Jamie Birmingham, Mary Sullivan, Geri Peterson, Doreen French, Kay Yagunic, and Bonnie Grob
  • Bags Tournament: Josh Jennings, John Leane, and Glenn Hamilton
  • Bar: Members of the St. Celestine Men’s Club
  • Face Painting and Frozen Treats: Kim McMillan and Members of the St. Celestine Teen Group
  • Bingo: Mary & Larry Princivalli
  • Split the Deck/Pull Tabs: Deborah & Tony Fini, Carol Bilbo & Dominic Clemente
  • Stress Assessment/Back Massage: Dr. Jeffrey Smith
  • Kids’ Games and Crafts: Julie McGuire, Mary Joost, Caitlyn Joost, Angel Rivera, Jr., & Adam Mleczko
  • Set Up/Maintance: Eric Mueller and Joe Joost
  • PLUS: Bob & Carol Gutkowski, Cesar Vargas & Skip Marcucci for getting the groups who provided wonderful entertainment, and the many generous donors of food - Maria’s Mexican Restaurant, Agostino Ristorante, The Original Nottoli, & Laramie Bakery - treats, and supplies.

Thank you to one and all!!
